Making Your Photoshoot Yours: Personalize Your Session

When it comes to your photoshoot, I want the experience to feel like you. Not just pretty poses in a nice location-but something that truly reflects your personality, your story, and what makes you relationship so special.

Before any session, I ask you to sit down with you partner and fill out out a detailed questionnaire to help me get to know you better. It’s not just about the logistics-it’s about discovering what you love to do together. Are you more “grab a latte and wander” people or “get muddy on a hike” people? Maybe you have a favorite date spot, a mutual obsession, a quirky tradition or somewhere you travel often together. These details help me create a truly personalized photoshoot experience that’s rooted in authentic connection.

As a New England photographer, I believe that your session should go beyond just beautiful backdrops-it should tell your story. Whether we’re exploring the coastal town, wandering the streets of Boston, or finding hidden gems like your favorite record store, the goal is to create images that feel honest and meaningful.

Take Stephanie & Angel for example. They weren’t exactly sure where they wanted to get photos done but when talk came up about a possible music store or library, I knew we had to do a record store. Their mutual love for music was something I knew could bring comfort and authenticity to the session, and man was I right. Their shoot at Little Lost Records in Stafford Springs CT was everything. We spent the afternoon flipping through vinyl, laughing between shelves, and capturing all the small candid moments in between. The vibe was so effortlessly intimate and personal-exactly what you’d hope for in an authentic couples session. And to top it all off? Ice cream after, because… obviously. Who doesn’t love ice cream?

If you’re looking for a New England couples photographer who’s all about real moments, genuine connection, and making your session feel true to you-I’m your girl. Let’s take your favorite things and turn them into memories you can frame.
